What A Night…
The Glasgow Thistle played host to the Scottish Entertainment Awards on Sunday 21st of April 2013. The evening was hosted by Des Clarke and the 750 guests from the hospitality industry were treated to a fantastic night of entertainment with the famous ventriloquist Paul Zerdin being the star of the show.
Warren Paul CEO for the Scottish Entertainment Awards commented ” we wanted to put on a show to reward the Scottish Hospitality Industry for all their hard work. Our independent panel of judges found it extremely difficult to pick the winners. 5000 businesses took part across Scotland making it the biggest Hospitality event in the country”.

Our 2012 Awards Were A Stunning Success
Congratulations go out to all of our finalists, who made it all the way on a fantastic journey since our launch night in January at the Citizens Theatre. There have been more than fifty thousand visitors to the awards website, and over two and a half thousand venues throughout Scotland took part in the competition. Over fourteen thousand votes were received, from as far as Orkney to Dumfries and everywhere in between, so to have reached the final was in itself a great achievement.
